Recipe for a fun Fat Tuesday at home.
1. Make yourself a delicious New Orleans Hurricane
2 oz. light rum
2 oz. dark rum
2 oz. passion fruit juice
1 oz. orange juice
½ oz. fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon simple syrup
1 tablespoon grenadine
Garnish: orange slice and cherry
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a hurricane glass filled with ice. Garnish with a cheery and an orange slice.
2. Start drinking your Hurricane
3. Push back the furniture
4. Roll up the rug
5. Lace up your high heel sneakers
6. Crank up Chucky T on the hi-fi
7. Make yourself another Hurricane
8. Start tappin’ your toes
9. Snappin’ your fingers
10. Slappin’ your thigh
11. Shakin’ your hips
12. Repeat 8-11 to these tunes for two hours of a Mardi Gras Dance Party!
