John Frazier, founder and frontman of FrazierBand, will be making a special appearance on WHUP to play some tunes and promote the band’s latest album, Some People Change.
An accomplished mandolinist, guitarist, fiddler and songwriter, John and the band have been at the forefront of the Nashville newgrass and
contemporary acoustic scene since forming in 2010. Moving further afield than the band’s previous bluegrass-oriented recording, Some People Change blends original songs flavored by elements of jazz and other styles with percussion and some electric instrumentation that’s fresh and modern but still retains its grassy essence.
Join us on WHUP for a special one-hour tour of John’s musical twists and turns, and don’t forget that if you can’t listen in real time, you can go to the WHUP Specials page on our website and click on the May 18 link.
