Greatly en-kindled by the many poems of Langston Hughes, “Tr1umph@nt!” began to write his own poetry by age 12. Inspired by the “Motown Sound” with which his parents surrounded him, the artist began to write songs. Inspired by 90’s ‘Boom Bap’ and ‘Hiphop’ culture, “Tr1umph@nt!” embarked on the journey to find his voice as an MC. Nine states and many years later, “Tr1umph@nt!” remains true to his name.
