La Tertulia con Solangel is an innovative Spanish-language radio show hosted by Soleir Gordon-Schaefer and Angel Romero. The show’s unique content has been created for Latinos and Spanish-speaking Anglos in the Triangle area and beyond, especially those who are tired of typical Latino radio shows, and those who appreciate their community.
The show shares information, news, cultural events and public affairs content with our community, and provides exposure to our local Latino artists. La Tertulia delivers interviews with a wide variety of interesting people, local and international news of interest and current community events as well as a significant variety of Latino music not usually heard on the radio. Interviews focus on issues of importance to Spanish-speaking people living locally and globally. Information about our community features historical spotlights and important events. The program also provides an opportunity for exposure to local Latino musicians and artists.
