Marginal Consort is not baked rice custard, herb-crusted head cheese, mom’s butter-bedazzled dinner buns, or any other placid comfort food. This show is a nocturnal reconnoiter of the underbelly of sounds and music of a subversive, radical, and judiciously marginalized ilk. Just what you thought you never needed…and maybe still don’t. For two hours a week, MC will take a stroll in the fringe and muse on music for outer bodies and outer spaces with a weakness for the unclassifiable, absurd, and even unlistenable avant-garde. With ears peaked, turn on, tune in, and drop out because this is the point-of-impact where boundaries are unabashedly broken [and the cue for brainwave entrainment to ensue as you find solace halfway sprawled between a prop and a seed, stunned and leaking].
