Stand up for all the great soul singers that never made it.
Stand up for all the souls who fell down from betrayal, heartache, and loneliness.
Stand up and do the boogaloo.
Stand up Wednesday mornings for some great SOUL MUSIC!
Each Wednesday morning we’ll look at a different theme in soul music. We’ll dive deep into the massive treasure chest of amazing records produced during the 1950s-70s, as well as catch up with today’s artists performing with the same spirit of the classic period.
From the dark end of the street to funky broadway, we’ll travel from the heart of the soul triangle to the outskirts of soul city, exposing rarely heard and lesser known artists, buried and left behind by oldies programming.
Slip away on Wednesday mornings.
