Celebrate WHUP’s birthday during Begathon II!

Seems like it’s been a lot longer, but October 11 marks the first anniversary of our transformation from just another great idea to an actual, on-the-air radio station!

To mark the occasion we’re holding Begathon II, our unique twist on the tired, sometimes painful public radio fundraiser – each WHUP show during the week of October 9-15 will have a special Begathon edition featuring special guests, themes, parodies and healthy dose of attitude. And of course we’ll be asking you to contribute to the cause, which you can do any time.

We have a long way to go before we can fully implement our ambitious plan to take over the airwaves, but we hope you’ll agree that we’ve lived up to the hype so far and are providing a top-notch lineup of locally produced music and talk programs that stack up against any other station on the dial.
